Atelier 10 était à Venice, CA, le 5 mai 2012, afin de profiter de la journée annuelle ‘portes ouvertes’ du Venice Garden and Home Tour. Une trentaine de propriétés à visiter, bungalows restaurés datant de 1924, réalisations avant-gardistes de l’architecte Gregory Ain dans le quartier historique de Mar Vista (années 40), créations contemporaines en bois/béton/verre où la notion d’intérieur/extérieur n’existe plus.
Les jardins profitent crânement de la douceur du climat californien, cactées, succulentes, palmiers, haies de bougainvilliers et callistemons géants, fougères arborescentes,..
